On my last Australian trip (4-5 years ago) I never got the chance of visiting Nimbin, a very infamous place for laid back life, backpackers and weed (Wikipedia Entry). We only visited the place in the afternoon, to get some supplies and quickly view the place, but I was disappointed that we didn't get offered Weed as this is a common occurrence to tourists!
The place also hosts the MardiGrass festival (Wikipedia Entry) which is a wicked event which I would have loved to go to, but unfortunately isn't on till next year.
